This also can cause a slight trickle-down effect in the secondary market, with pre-owned pricing upped to match the raised value at retail.
As the chart indicates, opting for a steel 3861 Speedmaster comes with ~12.5% increase in price for the sapphire and a ~17.8% increase for the Hesalite example.
