Polishing is done on the Rolex lapping machine, not a regular polishing machine as that would polish the blasted parts again. _____
I'm wondering if the satin part of the bezel (the recessed part around the number markers) is something that can be brushed/blasted out if I ever get it refinished. Does anyone have any experience with this? Usually removing the bezel will unseat the ring and it stays stuck on the case side of the bezel system. It's possible that you can refit the bezel using the old ring but in doing so you can crush the silicone ring further.

Depending on the reference, the Rolex Yacht-Master bezel is either crafted from sandblasted precious metals or matte black Cerachrom ceramic. The 60-minute timing bezels of the Yacht-Master are distinguished by raised markings, which include numerals and batons.

Even though I’m left handed, and therefore wear my watch on my right wrist, I had no issues with the pushers digging into my wrist, or catching on my sleeves.Unlike the bezels on gold Submariner and GMT-Master II watches that feature ceramic inserts, the solid gold bezel on the Yacht-Master 16623 is entirely crafted from 18k yellow gold and features raised, high-polished numerals against a matte sandblasted finish.
